In August 2015, the IDX technical team established the project of "Application research and promotion of ionic liquid technology for aluminum plating on neodymium iron boron surfaces" in Dongyang.

In April 2016, the first NdFeB ionic liquid aluminum rolling test line in China was completed. Realize sustainable mass production in December.

In July 2017, the experimental line was upgraded and the process stability verification was completed.
In 2018, ion liquid plating sample tests were conducted with Apple and Samsung, and the sample quality and solution were recognized.

Starting from the beginning of the year, a pilot production line was built, and in August of that year, the first NdFeB ionic liquid aluminum rolling pilot production line in China was completed, with an annual processing capacity of 73 tons/year.

In January 2020, cooperation was established with leading neodymium iron boron manufacturers such as Ningbo Yunsheng. Through sample trial production, the neodymium iron boron ion liquid plating solution was recognized. In December, the production process technology was improved through long-term operation of the automatic line.

From January to December 2021, we collaborated with ALPS Corporation in Japan and confirmed our departure Advantages of sub liquid aluminum plating solution. In July, in collaboration with Zhejiang University, the first domestic ionic liquid plating test line was established in Hangzhou for the trial production of aerospace products. In November, in collaboration with Zhejiang Turbine Institute, an ionic liquid plating test line was established in Deqing for the trial production of aerospace products

In 2022, we will continue to deepen our cooperation with ALPS, Ningbo Yunsheng, and Apple to promote the expansion of ionic liquid plating technology in the neodymium iron boron industry; Organize expert review to confirm the environmental superiority of ionic liquid plating technology; Continuously verify and strengthen the stability of the process: introduce partners, work together to promote project development.

Complete the expansion of the IDX R&D team in the first half of 2023; From June to August, the project will be implemented in Ningbo, and SUNRAY Company will be established to begin industrial operations. Significant breakthroughs have been made in the application technology of semiconductor aluminum plating, while improving the industrialization process. Completed a 12 million angel round investment in October, of which 6 million is for financial investment and 6 million is for industrial chain strategic investment.

In June 2024, SUNRAY Company officially settled in Yuyao Robot Town; In August, the world's first fully automatic mass production line for NeFeB ionic liquid aluminum rolling coating, independently designed and constructed by SUNRAY Company, was completed.
